Hailing from the town of Mithilanchal in Bihar, Smt. Manju Singh has been brought up in the traditional cultural environment of Mithila. Political Science (Honours) graduate from Patna University, Smt. Manju Singh’s foremost passion and interest have always been Music and singing, and she never skipped a chance to explore new opportunities to propagate the same.

Smt. Manju Singh is bestowed with melodious voice and therefore she has always been an ardent participant of various cultural programmes, folk songs and ghazal singing platforms to mesmerize music loving audience.

Despite of coming from a conservative family background, Smt. Manju Singh never deter herself from pursuing her singing fervour. Even after her marriage when shifted to Sindri, Dhanbad, she continued to remain in touch with her latent talent of singing.

A self-empowered Smt. Manju Singh associates singing with the supreme and divine power, and considers it as the most precious component of her life.
