Received best social worker award from the Federation of Delhi Hospital Welfare Societies President and founding member, St Stephen's Hospital Patients Welfare Society Instrumental in raising funds and treatment for over 12000 juveniles suffering from pediatric polio, funding of scholarships for nursing training and free medical clinics in cardiac disease, TB, eye treatments and blood donation. Series of concerts held as a vehicle to raise funds for patients welfare President Kiwanis Club of New Delhi (L) Implementation of educational income generation programs for women from resettlement areas over a 20 year period of continuity .

Member – Delhi Social Welfare Board Immediate Past Vice chairperson - SCWEC India (SAARC Chamber Women Entrepreneur Council) Governing Body Member, Shriram Bharatiya Kala Kendra and Shriram Centre for Performing Arts raising funds and creating awareness of classical music and dance for nation's premier dance /drama league. Led two international cultural delegations sponsored by ICCR to South America, USA, Canada and Tokyo and Korea.
