Jayshree Arora (also spelled Joyoshree or Jayshri) is an Indian film, stage and television actress, and a trained dancer of Kathak and Manipuri dance. She has played supportive roles in numerous Bollywood films and Hindi soap operas.
Career:
Arora has been acting in theatre since 9 years of age. She made her debut in TV with Hum Log in 1984. She currently stays in Noida with her family since last 15 years and goes to Mumbai for work.
1984 to at present she is working in TV Shows like; 1984-85 Hum Log as Bhagwanti on Doordarshan; 1988 Dil Dariya as Shah Rukh Khan’s mother on Doordarshan; 1988 Fauji as Abhimanyu’s mother on Doordarshan; 2007-08 Jhoome Jiya Re as Dadi on Zee Next; 2009 Mere Ghar Aayi Nanhi Pari as Guneeta Ramlal Chawla on Colors Tv; 2009 -10 Yahaan Main Ghar Ghar Kheli as Saraswati Devi Prasad on Zee Tv; 2012 -2014 Sapna Suhane Ladakpan Ke as Kabir’s grandmother; 2016 Diya Aur Baati Hum as Resham Daadi on Star Plus; 2017 Dev-TV series as Zohra Apa on Colors Tv.
She also worked in Movies like; 1989 (Mujrim), 1989 (Daata), 1990 (Police Public), 1994 (Zid), 1995 (Jai Vikraanta), 2007 (Chak De! India), 2008 ( Drona), 2010 (Mission 11 July).
